To whom it may concern, Recent and ongoing state budget cuts eliminated or reduced much of the services needed by the developmental disabilities community. Nevertheless, My First Horizon continues to provide quality services to all residents, but they are not able to participate in many activities in the community since available funds are limited. The residents absolutely adore, dream of, and speak about Disney at least once a week. They all have a wish (and in their innocent minds expect) to go to Disney World. They are off school and day programs in June. We are procuring donations to help make their dream come true, and would like to call your kindness to help us with their dream in donating to this cause. We only need six (6) tickets to enter a park (because two staffs must accompany the residents). Our staff can provide transportation and other special arrangements. Hence, our request is merely the admission to the park, and one day will be sufficient. If needed we can provide you a 501 (c) (3) for your records and deduction from your next tax filling. Your donation will promote self-esteem and is the greatest reward we could ever offer them. Thank you very much for your time and compassion. Your support and understanding are highly appreciated.
